Sophia Fu

2023 deGraffenried Design Scholarship for NAHS

Sophia Fu is an incoming freshman at Northeastern University planning on majoring in Computer Science and Design. She’s always had a strong interest in art starting from a young age. Through art, she can capture moments and memories with creative liberties to dissect, emphasize, and recreate them into her own interpretation. Sophia hopes to weave in her artistic side into her other interests, finding the overlap between computer science and art.

For the longest time, art has been a huge part of my life despite not being entirely sure that I would be able to pursue in the future. This scholarship allows me to make this dream possible while pursuing other personal passions in college
